Looking for a safe and responsible way to discard used motor oil, bottles of weed killer, or Dallas Cowboys jerseys? The good folks at Montgomery County make it easy to dispose of the bad stuff in your home through its annual hazardous household waste collection program. And the service is free for Montgomery County residents! Business and industrial wastes are not accepted. The next HHW collection will be held on Saturday, April 25, at the Boyertown Midde School East, 2020 Big Road, Gilbertsville, from 9am to 3pm. Click here for the list of acceptable and unacceptable materials, and for additional program information.
Montgomery County also offers separate collection events for used tires. This service is also free for Montgomery County residents, and certain conditions apply.
