Construction has been completed on a 900-foot pedestrian trail that links the existing sidewalk system in the Defford Road and Clyston Road neighborhoods to the nearby shopping center at Skippack Pike. In addition, a small bridge was built to span the Zacharias Creek. Click here to take a aerial tour of the new trail and bridge.
This trail segment is part of a proposed trail network that links Evansburg State Park to Heebner Park to the historic Peter Wentz Farmstead. The project was funded in part by a $63,000 grant from Montgomery County.
